Shoutway.com is my first venture in the blogging world.
As you don’t know me, you might want to ask me a simple question, who am I?
So, I am Tanay, basically, a Mechanical engineering professional working in a reputed organisation. I graduated in the year 2007 and completed my post-graduation in 2009, and since then I have been working as a professional for engineering construction companies.
Life has been going good till now. From the small state of Tripura and then going to one of the major cities of India i.e. Bangalore and eventually now in Vadodara.
My family has been very supportive all through the years with a strong bond between all of us.
I never tried blogging earlier, but to this very day, I have some understanding about blogging which I shall tell you in the subsequent paras. So, whatever I have learned till now, I shall try to pen it down here for you.
A few months back also, I didn’t have any idea how to write a blog post. Thanks to the abundant materials available in Google and YouTube along with a power-packed internship program, which made me confident enough to start my space on the web.
In this first blog post, for understanding shoutway.com better, I have tried to give detailed answers to the below six questions. Which I feel you should definitely find when you first visit my blog. And from the first blog post itself, I want to connect with you in an honest way.

Reasons to start a blog
Well, this would have been a tricky question if you would have asked me three months back. But now I can give you a reply.
You know quite well that 2020 is a year which most of us will want to take out from our lives. The world has been under a turbulent storm of the dreaded Covid-19 virus. Lockdown were imposed in most of the places of the world along with all the places in India.
During this lockdown, I started to feel, why not to utilize my free time (whatever I get) to learn something new which I have not tried till now.
I started to look for my ‘ikigai‘ and went through the internet, searching for days. And in that course of time, I found a paid ad termed Digital marketing(DM) in my social media feed, I started to dig more and found that it is one of the topmost searchable terms in google trends.
I googled further about it, and slowly but steadily I started to understand the subject. Till March 2020, I didn’t have any idea about Digital marketing, I am purely a Mechanical person, so understanding the subject was challenging for me. I had to come out of my comfort zone.
To gain more knowledge about Digital marketing, I took up an internship program, a renowned one named Digital Deepak internship program(DDIP).
This is a three-month online program, and I highly recommend it to you as well. Its been a great value addition for me. The internship is an action-oriented course, exceptionally well organized by Deepak kanakraju, one of India’s top bloggers and digital marketers. You can already find many of Deepak’s interns marking their presence on the web on digital marketing and in other niches also.
For the last few months, I have been going through the articles and YouTube videos of top bloggers on digital marketing for knowing the subject better.
And after going through all, this is why i started blogging. I feel starting to write a blog and continuing it for some years is a great way to preserve your learnings and an opportunity to show that you care for others. Your documented learnings can be of great value to some others.
So, after going through all the above, the question which may arise in your mind is,
Why would you come to shoutway.com?
This is my first article. This is the start and it will go on. I am working as a professional for the last 11 years. I am a learner and whatever I learn each day will share with you.
Now coming to your above question, shoutway.com is a blog for digital marketers. Here I shall share my learnings about digital marketing with you. Digital marketing is a vast subject, for me its an ocean. As a learner, whatever drops of knowledge I can get from it, I shall share it with you.
If you have come up to this line, then I can definitely say, you too are interested in the subject.
I say, why not!! Digital marketing is the future and I want you to know more about that. It has the possibility to give us financial freedom. you don’t need to be a coding specialist or a computer science graduate to know DM.
I knew nothing about DM just three months back, but now I am moving out of my comfort zone to know about the future.
Many people inspire me, in that queue many are bloggers, wonderful bloggers, great writers. I keep on learning from them, and every bit that I learn, I want to share with you. With that, I want to briefly tell you about the below question.
What shall be my blog posts about?
Well, as I already told you above that my blog will be specifically targeted towards those who want to make their career in digital marketing.
Now Digital marketing is a vast field, and even the top bloggers in the blogosphere do not touch all the Subtopics in a single blog site.
So, what are the topics I shall be blogging about so that you can find them interesting and informative? The topics will include about and not restricted to
- Content writing / marketing
- Search engine optimization
- Website creation (WordPress)
- Lead generation
- Personal branding
- Affiliate marketing
Whatever sub-topics I have listed above, I shall try to write it in a detailed way, so that you have a better understanding of the topic once you go through the entire blog. And also I shall add a few more topics in the course of time.
In view of the above topics, a question continuously comes to my mind which says.
For whom I shall write blog?
The answer to the above question is YOU.
Yes, it’s you. You are in the fourth question of my first blog post. And once you are here, I can definitely say that you have an interest in the above topics. You are ambitious and want to come out of your comfort zone.
And to make it more interesting, I shall return back to you periodically with better content.
You are the centre point of my blog. If you find my blog posts good, informative and topics with in-depth details which are helping you, then it will be the biggest gift for me.
As this is my first blog, it’s more or less is like planting a seed. Will feed it, will nurture it and when time goes on, it will be the primary bridge between me and you. A connection for many years to come. Your little presence throughout from a busy schedule is what I expect.
I shall try to give a solution to the problems you can face and it can be vice versa.
Once you got a bit of the fourth question, now comes the fifth one.
How can you get involved?
I want shoutway.com to be a bridge between you and me. I want to make this blog a two-way interaction.
As I am much new to this field, whatever I have learned or I am learning, all those I shall pen it down here. I want to share all those with you.
Nobody starts as an expert, the same is with me. I shall try my best to present you with better content so that it remains useful and you enjoy it while reading. All your suggestions, value additions on blog writing are always welcomed.

What are my blog goals?
Once you have gone through the fifth question, now it’s time for you to know What are my blogging goals.
And I want to share this with you. I have started this blog with a preliminary goal, slowly and steadily I shall redefine once the preliminary goals are achieved. Without blog goal setting, I cannot keep on writing blogs.
So, what are my blogging goals,
1. To increase my blogging traffic :
Arguably, the most important thing that comes to blogging is traffic. It’s the lifeline of a blog, like blood flowing into the body.
A goal of increasing the traffic by 6% monthly should not be much difficult work. This means in the next 12 months the amount of traffic to shoutway.com will be doubled. That looks achievable.
2. To write at least 1 Blog Post in 10 days:
Traffic to my blog post is going to come from writing.
Writing is relatively correlated with traffic. For bringing that much traffic, I shall aim at 1 blog per ten days, that is 3 blogs per month. Slowly, I shall try to write 1 blog post per week, in that case, I shall inform you the same.
3. To start an income through Affiliate marketing:
This is my third goal. I shall shortly start Affiliate marketing in my blog. And I am aiming to make my first income through affiliate marketing within the next six months.
With these defined goals, now I can move forward to target those. I hope these will also give you a basic understanding of how shoutway.com will be moving for the next one year.
Conclusion
You can teach at whatever stage you are. Teaching is a great initiative to sort out the problems of others.
You can teach a person with zero knowledge when you know the basics of a subject. You can learn more and after reaching an advanced level you can teach people with zero and basic knowledge, similarly, with more advanced learning you can teach all people in the three categories mentioned above and the cycle goes on.
I see many bloggers with amazing writing skills, continuously trying to teach the lessons they have learnt. They try to make their lives along with their follower’s better.
How do they do that?
Simply by inspiring, by teaching, by spreading positivity. They show if they can get up to the top, then you and I also can. Both of us need a start and an honest commitment to continue it.
